In response to recent statements by Cherokee County Commissioner Marcie Foster – calling into question the need for the continuation of the one-cent sales tax or “Education Tax” in Cherokee County, Superintendent Mitchell Guice supplied WEIS Radio News with a statement outlining his reasons for renewal of the tax, among other issues
Guice then went on to list specific needs at each particular school in the county
Superintendent Guice addressed the issue of how long the tax would be extended if the measure is passed by the voters of the county come July
