ABC News(WASHINGTON) — The Republican Party may be changing its shape in the coming weeks as internal divisions become clearer in the wake of recent events.
But it wouldn’t be the first time the party has made over its outward appearance.
The party that has long been identified with the elephant didn’t begin that way. And it didn’t even start out by its more traditional name, the Grand Old Party.
