Three Arrested for String of Car Break-In’s in Calhoun County

Calhoun County authorities have arrested three people in connection with a recent string of car break-in’s occurring in Alexandria and possibly in other locations around the area.

According to Chief Deputy Matthew Wade deputies recovered a Taser, three handguns, Yeti coolers and an amount of marijuana.

Those arrested included Christian O’Neal Matthews, charged with seven counts of Breaking & Entering an Automobile, two counts of drug possession and with possession of marijuana – Jordan Taylor Brown, charged with seven counts Breaking & Entering an Automobile, the possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and Chemical Endangerment of a Child – and Keenan Walker Brodeur charged with seven counts of the Breaking & Entering of an Automobile, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

All three subjects are 18 years of age and are residents of Alexandria.

Deputy Wade said Brown was charged with Chemical Endangerment of a Child because she is pregnant, adding that it appears the three were stealing to fund a drug habit.
