According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, local investigators were assisting Etowah County authorities in locating several items of stolen property on Lake Place Drive in Cedar Bluff Friday afternoon, when they also found methamphetamine and marijuana.

Three individuals were taken into custody at the scene – 18 year old D’Andre Keith Autry of Cedar Bluff – charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Megan Lee Patty, age 24, also of Cedar Bluff and Lasabra Kohl Smith, age 24 of Centre were each charged with the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and with the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

All three were transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center, and booked in shortly after 4:00pm – where they remain awaiting a bond hearing.
