Three Hurt in Highway 35 Motorcycle Accident – Updated

Three people were injured in a wreck involving two motorcycles Thursday morning in Cherokee County.

According to the Alabama State Trooper accident report – that accident took place at 10:20am on Highway 35 at the intersection with County Road 114 and involved a 2006 Kawasaki driven by 47 year old Douglas Franklin Green and a 2006 Suzuki being driven by Timothy Wayne Perkins, age 32.

Both Green and Perkins were injured, along with a passenger on Perkins motorcycle, 31 year old Stephanie McDonald.

All three are residents of Cedar Bluff.

Green was air-lifted to Erlanger Medical Center for treatment, while both Perkins and McDonald were transported to Floyd Medical Center.

No additional information has been released regarding the extent of their injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
