Total of 9 Arrested in DeKalb County Drug Bust

Daniel Charles Pardue, Daniel James Pardue, Doris Yvonne Camp, William Cole Haggard, Jared Wade Allison, Christopher Douglas Smith, and Tyson Aaron Hart, were arrested along with two juveniles (not pictured).

On Tuesday of this week, the DeKalb County Drug & Major Crimes Unit – along with DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Deputies executed a search warrant on County Road 155 in Higdon.

The Sheriff’s Office had received numerous tips about drugs being at the residence, and as a result of a subsequent search, agents arrested a total of nine individuals – seven adults and two juveniles.

Arrested at the scene were Daniel Charles Pardue, age 58, and Daniel James Pardue, age 25, both of Higdon and charged with Distribution of Controlled Substance; Doris Yvonne Camp, 57 of Ooltewah, Tennessee; William Cole Haggard, age 19 of Hazel Green; and Jared Wade Allison, 19 of Flat Rock, charged with the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Christopher Douglas Smith, 20 of Higdon was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and a warrant for a Probation Violation; and Tyson Aaron Hart, 21 of Bryant was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Tampering with Physical Evidence.

The two juveniles were detained and taken to the Juvenile Probation Office in Ft Payne.

DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris commended the DeKalb County Drug & Major Crimes Unit and Deputies for their work in making those arrests and issued a thank you to all those who provided tips which helped lead to the investigation being launched.
