Calhoun County authorities recovered a stolen vehicle during a routine traffic stop, Monday morning on U.S. 431 near Wellington.
The 1993 Ford truck was reportedly pulled over for having a headlight out; a quick check of the vehicle showed that it had been stolen from the Oxford area approximately a month ago
The driver identified as 44 year old Ohatchee resident Terry Glen Moncrief, Jr. was arrested on a charge of Receiving Stolen Property 1st Degree; he also did not have a driver’s license.
Bond has yet to be set in that case.
