(LOS ANGELES) — The first official trailer for the live-action Beauty and the Beast premiered on Monday and racked up 127.6 million views in a day.
According to Billboard, it unseated trailer debuts for Fifty Shades Darker and Star Wars: The Force Awakens for the most views across digital platforms on its first day of release.
The film stars Emma Watson and Dan Stevens in the lead roles and features Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellen, Stanley Tucci, Kevin Kline, Audra McDonald and Emma Thompson.
Beauty and the Beast, from ABC News’ parent company Disney, opens March 17.
