Troopers Work Two Accidents Involving Injuries in Cherokee County on Sunday

Alabama State Troopers worked two single-vehicle accidents involving injuries in Cherokee County on Sunday.

The first took place at 2:40am on County Road 32, ten miles south of Leesburg and involved a 2000 Honda being driven by 20 year old Centre resident Kyonna Dupree.

The second occurred at 1:30 that afternoon about a mile east of Cedar Bluff on County Road 144 and involved a 2000 Toyota driven by 30 year old Jodie Sherrod of Cedar Bluff.

Both drivers were listed on the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report as being hurt, however no additional information regard the extent of their injuries was available.

Both accidents remain under investigation by state troopers.
