No one was hurt when a tractor-trailer slammed through a fence and struck a mobile unit at the Cherokee County Detention Center on Saturday.

The incident occurred at around 3 p.m.

Apparently, the driver had parked the truck in the parking area behind the Cherokee County Courthouse.

While he was visiting at the jail, the truck began to skid, not roll, down the hill, eventually striking the fence and the trailer.

The truck belongs to Rollins Transport of Leesburg.

Once again, no one was hurt and it is believe the damage to the mobile unit was only minimal.

An unidentified female was injured in a tractor accident Saturday afternoon.

The mishap occurred at around 2:45 p.m. on County Road 82.
