Trump Says Jobs Coming Back to US 'Big League'

ABC News(WASHINGTON) — President Trump met with automotive CEOs from General Motors, Chrysler and Ford on Tuesday.

Following the meeting, the president made remarks about bringing jobs back to the United States “big-league,” saying the U.S. would go from being very inhospitable to the most hospitable for business.

“We are bringing manufacturing back to the United States big league,” Trump said. “It’s the long-term jobs that we’re looking for.”

“We’re reducing taxes very substantially and we’re reducing unnecessary regulations. We want regulations, but we want real regulations that mean something,” he added.

Trump told auto executives that he’ll turn the business environment in the United States from “very inhospitable to extremely hospitable.”

“We’re going to make the process much more simple for the auto companies,” Trump said. “Everybody else that wants to do business in the United States, I think you’ll find this to be from very inhospitable to extremely hospitable. I think we’ll go down as one of the most friendly countries.”
