The August 23rd Municipal Election in Cherokee County left one race undecided following a tight race between incumbent Brandy Pierce and challenger Harley Lamey – for the position of Mayor of Leesburg.
Pierce lead the way with 112 votes, followed closely by Lamey with 94.
Voters will decide on Tuesday (October 4th) who will lead Leesburg for the next four years.
Polls will be open from 7:00am – 7:00pm.
