Two Adults, Two Juveniles Charged With Breaking Into Concession Stand In Valley Head

Sinns and BurtonTwo adults and two juveniles have been charged for breaking into the concession stand at the football stadium and the old gym store at Valley Head High School on Aug. 26.

Officers have identified the two adult suspects as Waylon Burton, 19, of Valley Head and Patrick Sinns, 18, of Valley Head. The two juvenile’s names will not be released, but according to officers they are 16 and 17.

DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office says that $250 in damage and items were taken.

School resource officers Jim Chambers and Tim Rector, along with investigators, found Burton, Sinns and one of the juveniles in possession of items that were taken from the concession stand and the store. Burton and Sinns were both recognized by faculty as former students at Valley Head High School. On Aug. 27 investigators arrested the second juvenile that was involved.

Burton and Sinns have both been charged with burglary and receiving stolen property.

The two juveniles are charged with burglary and receiving stolen property. They both remain in their parents’ custody.
