Two Arrested for Drug Trafficking in East Gadsden Bust

Two people are behind bars after Etowah County Drug Enforcement Agents went to a home on Stillman Avenue in Gadsden to serve an arrest warrant, and reportedly found significant amounts of drugs – including approximately eight grams of Black Tar Heroin, 245 grams of Spice and an unspecified amount of marijuana in addition to drug paraphernalia.

40 year old William Taylor, and 44 year old Peangelia Dixon were placed under arrest, both being charged with Drug Trafficking.  Bond was set at $50,000 for each.  Taylor was already on Community Corrections for a previous drug conviction and he had outstanding warrants for traffic offenses.

Another person in the home was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant out of Marshall County.
