Two Etowah County residents have been arrested, and charged with Hindering Prosecution 1st Degree in connection with failing to report the sexual abuse of a minor.
Sheriff Todd Entrekin said 59 year old Don Gary Harcrow and 46 year old Sedana Epperson Harcrow, both of Attalla allegedly had knowledge that the abuse was taking place and failed to make a report to the proper authorities; the two are also accused of placing that victim in danger by taking the minor to locations near the abuser.
Both individuals were booked into the Etowah County Detention Center, and later released on bond of $2,500.
