Two Ohatchee men are currently lodged in the Calhoun County Jail on more than $1 million bond after they were arrested with five grams of heroin.
Ohatchee Police Chief Jason Oden, said the arrest happened at 12:30pm Saturday in the 400 block of Alabama 144 as police stopped a Toyota pickup on a traffic violation; those officers detected an odor of drugs and conducted a search which turned up the illegal substance.
27 year old Gavin Lee Hughes and Jonathon Alford Crow, 25, were charged with trafficking heroin, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
