Two Arrested on Drug Charges After Anniston Traffic Stop

CCSO - Hobdy and Dill

Anniston Police discovered several bags of pre-packaged cocaine, during a recent vehicle stop on Qunitard Avenue shortly after midnight.

That late night stop resulted in the arrest of both 40 year old Charles Bernard Hobdy and Victoria Faith Dill, age 32 – on charges of Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance.

Hobdy was also charged with failing to signal, driving with a revoked license and a misdemeanor count of DUI after he refused to take a chemical test; while waiting for a tow truck, officers were making a list of the vehicle’s contents – and that’s when they found what appeared to be cocaine packaged for re-sale.

Dill has been released from jail on a $10,000 bond and Hobdy has been released after making his $51,000 bond.

Both are scheduled to appear in court on March 6th (2014).
