Two Arrested on Drug Trafficking Charges in Separate Cases

traffickingA Gadsden man is facing drug trafficking charges in the wake of a three month investigation conducted by the Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit and FBI Safe Streets Task Force.

He was also in possession of several thousand dollars in cash. He was placed under arrest Friday after being stopped at the intersection of Henry and Harvey Streets in Gadsden; a consent search of his vehicle reportedly turned up three ounces of methamphetamine, a quantity of Ecstasy, and a .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun.
