Two people were arrested on drug charges in Cherokee County late Sunday afternoon.
Donny Brian Putman, age 37 of Oneonta and Amanda Nicole Chittam, age 29 of Attalla were each charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in addition to Theft of Property 4th Degree. Both were booked in at the Cherokee County Detention Center shortly before 6:00 that evening.
They remain in the Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
