Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver said two people have been arrested in connection with the theft of a 4-wheeler in November.
Sheriff Shaver says that Justin Caleb Sheppard, 21, and Steven Paul Warren, 18, both of Cedar Bluff were arrested on Tuesday. The ATV was stolen in late November around County Road 19 in southern Cherokee County. It was later recovered near Tennala Church.
Sheppard has been charged with breaking and entering a vehicle and first degree property theft, while Warren has been charged with first degree property theft.
Both remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center awaiting bond. The case is still under investigation.
