Two Centre residents were arrested on drug charges Monday.

45 year old Sandy DeWayne Gowens, was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia while Tammy Carol Gowens, age 46 was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and DUI.

Both were booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center just after 4:00pm on Monday where they remain awaiting setting of bond.
