Leesburg PD Arrest Two on Drug, Attempting to Elude Charges

Two Cherokee County men attempting to elude officers, were arrested on drug charges late Wednesday night.

Brian Ray Adams age 30 of Centre and James Francis Kubach age 23 of Leesburg, were both charged with two counts of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, with the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree, Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree and Attempting to Elude.

Leesburg Police Officer Joe Johnson made the arrests.

Chief Lanny Ransum commended Officer Johnson for his alert police work, and quick action in apprehending the pair.

Both were booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center around 11:00pm where they remain awaiting setting of bond.

2 Fahy

A 49 year old Huntsville man was also arrested on drug charges Wednesday afternoon.

Patrick Lawrence Fahy was taken into custody shortly before 3:00 charged with two counts of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and two counts of the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

He also remains behind bars awaiting a bond hearing.
