A pair of DeKalb County residents were arrested on drug charges late last week, following a traffic stop on Barry Street in Powell.
The occupants gave deputies consent to search that vehicle, which resulted in the discovery of marijuana.
The passenger, identified as 42 year old Stacie Higgins Garrett, was found with meth on her person.
She was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The driver 46 year old Stephen Dale Guffey was arrested on charges of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Paraphernalia.
Garrett and Guffey, both from Fyffe, were taken into custody, and transported to the DeKalb County Detention Center.
