Two individuals were hurt in a two-vehicle wreck around 9:30 Friday morning on Highway 411 at the intersection with County Road 45 ten miles north of Centre.

The collision involved a Honda Accord and a Dodge Ram pickup.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, the driver of the 2000 Dodge, 51 year old Theresa Deville of Centre was listed as being injured. The driver of the 2005 Honda, 39 year old Timothy Dempsey of Vestavia was also listed as being injured.

Troopers say both drivers were wearing a seatbelt.

Those dispatched to the scene included: Cherokee EMS, the Cherokee County Rescue Squad, McCords Crossroads Fire Department, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and State Troopers

The cause of that accident remains under investigation.
