Two people were treated for minor injuries following an accident involving a Georgia State Patrol Cruiser on Friday morning.
According to reports a Nissan was traveling eastbound on the Armuchee connecter behind the trooper, when the trooper noticed that the vehicle was coming up on him at a high rate of speed.
As the trooper was in the midst of turning to pull the vehicle over, the Nissan hit the cruiser in the driver’s side rear; both Trooper Justin Henderson and the other driver – identified as Kelly McCary of Summerville – were taken to an area hospital where they were treated and released.
That accident remains under investigation.
