Two Men Wanted in Connection with Convenience Store Hold Up

Summerville authorities continue to investigate the armed robbery occurring late last week at the Summerville Pure Stop located on Highway 114.

According to reports – two men entered the store around 10:00 on Friday night demanding money; the two were wearing masks and had their skin completely covered. At least one of the pair was armed with a handgun.

The men took just over $1,000 in cash and fled on foot toward Oil Mill Road.

Investigators are saying the two may have also been involved in a similar armed robbery in the Flintstone area of Walker County that same night.

The matter remains under investigation.
