Two Piedmont teenagers were hurt in a single-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report that wreck occurred at 4:00pm on County Road 12, approximately three miles north of Piedmont – and involved a 1995 Ford being driven by sixteen year old Sabrina Hitchcock.
Both she and a passenger in the vehicle, thirteen year old Deborah Hitchcock were listed as being hurt in the mishap – however no additional information regarding the extent of their injuries was noted in the report.
Troopers say the driver was wearing her seatbelt. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
