Two Women Charged with Felony Chemical Endangerment of a Child

Etowah County Child EndangermentTwo Etowah County women have been arrested on felony charges of Chemical Endangerment of a Child.

According to information contained in a news release from Sheriff Todd Entrekin – Amy Renee Hall of Rainbow City, age 24, now stands charged with one count of Chemical Endangerment of Exposing a Child to an Environment in which Controlled Substances are Ingested, Produced or Distributed. She has also been charged with one count of Theft by Deception 2nd Degree. Hall admitted to using Xanax and Oxycontin during her pregnancy.

21 year old Gadsden resident Dylan Leann Entrekin, was charged with Chemical Endangerment of a Child in addition to one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

According to the sheriff’s office she admitted to using meth on a daily basis.

Both Hall and Entrekin are currently being held without bond in the Etowah County Detention Center.
