An undercover “Prostitution Sting” in northwest Georgia has resulted in ten arrests being made.
The sting took place at the Roadway Inn on Tuner-McCall Boulevard in Rome late last week – reports indicate that Rome resident Alice Veronica Hardin, age 42 and Derrick Desmond Watkins, age 28 of Silver Creek were both charged with Pimping. Watkins was also charged with a Probation Violation.
Four women: 28 year old Alicia Danielle Thompson – 31 year old Elena Blitch – 28 year old Manda Lynn Lee and 19 year old Jamie Martin – were all charged with Prostitution.
Two other individuals are facing charges of pandering: 33 year old Byron Raschad Moore – and 54 year old Grover Franklin Keeney, Jr. – both of Rome.
44 year old Jimmy Howell Waters was arrested, and charged with Pimping, the Possession of Methamphetamine, Drugs Not Kept in the Original Container, Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime.
Hugh Don Lipton-Hall, age 40, was charged with Aggravated Assault and with Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime. Hall was arrested at the Roadway Inn by the Task Force however it’s unclear if his arrest came about as part of the undercover sting.
