Unlucky 13 Arrested on Drug Charges Thursday in Cherokee County

According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, investigators arrested 13 individuals on various drug charges last Thursday (October 6th).

While assisting an Alabama Department of Human Resources social worker at a residence on County Road 16, deputies and investigators found illegal drugs at the home. 

Misty Eastridge, age 31; Erica Tyler age 20; Jessica Rogers, 28; Jerry Griffin, age 46; Stephen Rohrbach, 35; Eric Rogers, 34; and Jason Ragland, 27 – all of Centre – and Bonnie Sims, 51 of Piedmont were each charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and second degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

Investigators Jeremy Stepps and Tony Monroy arrested five more individuals later that day.

Carol A. Calaway, 48, of Cedar Bluff was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia; Howard Neal, 53, also of Cedar Bluff was arrested  and charged with unlawful possession of controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and with second degree unlawful possession of marijuana, in addition to an existing bench warrant.  Jessie Houston, 48, and Terry V. Inman age 45 – both residents of Gaylesville – were each charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and second degree unlawful possession of marijuana; Jason Brown, age 35 of Ft Payne was arrested and charged with the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia – along with second degree unlawful possession of marijuana. 

All of the suspects were booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center.
