Up And Coming Country Artist Adam Wayne Pays A Visit To The WEIS Radio Studios

Family man, outdoorsman and entrepreneur, Adam Wayne also picks a flat-top guitar and writes unique songs born of the Minnesota woods. Being influenced from a musically talented family, Adam’s knack for singing, songwriting and guitar playing came at an early age. His Brother and Father also play guitar, while his Mother plays piano and his Sister plays the stand-up bass.
Adam moved to Nashville in 2007, checked out the music scene and worked at the world famous Tootsies Orchid Lounge in Nashville where he rubbed elbows with Brooks and Dunn, Alan Jackson, Kid Rock and Miranda Lambert. While living in Nashville, Adam was mentored by very talented and famous singer/songwriters and artists. He has shared the stage with various hit songwriters and well-known artists; including coining performances at the Legendary Surf Ballroom in Clearlake, Iowa on three different occasions; with Easton Corbin in 2011, and with Shooter Jennings and Trace Adkins in 2014. He has performed in front of 10,000 fans with Frankie Ballard. Also with Josh Thompson, Kevin Sharp, The Casey Donahew Band, Claire Lynch, Bob Wooton (Johnny Cash’s Guitar Player), and outlaw country music star Eric Lee Beddingfield and the late Wayne Mills.

Adam WayneIn 2011, Adam recorded his debut record, ”GOOD PENNIES KEEP COMING BACK”, in Nashville. It is comprised of Grammy and Dove award-winning musicians and is now being played on radio stations across the US. He has been added as a Clear Channel Radio Discover & Uncover Artist. In 2013 Adam released his first nation- wide record, “DOWN EVERY ROAD THERE’S A RODEO”, which has received radio airplay internationally. In August 2014, Adam released his record , “COUNTRY LULLABY” nation-wide; in which is now receiving national attention. Adam has been working on an album for the past few years with his producer who was a guitar player and songwriter for country legend Vern Gosdin. Look for Adam’s new record single this October, 27th 2014 called, “KEEP ON PUSHING AHEAD”.

Today, Adam continues to perform shows in and around the U.S. He has built a reputation of being fair, solid and “just a good guy”. He has donated his time to perform for various cancer benefits and recently the Relay For Life, and March of Dimes organizations, also noting performing for the troops occasionally. Last summer Adam’s patriotic songs were heard at the Minnesota American Legion State Convention. His songs have been called, “more memorable than common fare” and “lyrics that are unique and poetic”. He has a zest for performing his craft and is passionate about developing his music career.
