iStock/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — Another week of record-highs for Wall Street in the post-election rally.
The Dow jumped 142.04 (+0.72 percent) to finish at 19,756.85.
The Nasdaq gained 27.14 (+0.50 percent) to close at 5,444.50, while the S&P 500 finished at 2,259.53, up 13.34 (+0.59 percent) from its open.
Crude oil gained over 1 percent with prices hitting over $51 a barrel.
Winners and Losers: Shares in Coca-Cola Co. jumped about 2.5 percent after the beverage company announced CEO Muhtar Kent would be stepping down.
A weak quarter four earnings report from DavidsTea had the tea retailer’s stock sink 26 percent.
Sky PLC and 21st Century Fox Inc. have reached a preliminary agreement for the mass media giant to buy the rest of Sky. Shares in the British media company were up 31 percent on the news.
