A Virginia man died over the weekend from injuries that he sustained in a motorcycle crash last Thursday in Etowah County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, Kendall Jerome Girard, on a 2014 Honda motorcycle, left the roadway and crashed into a guardrail around 9:20pm, on I-59 approximately five miles north of Gadsden. The 79 year old Falls Church resident passed away Saturday at a nearby hospital.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation by state troopers.
