Meeting of the Weiss Lake Improvement Association Set for Monday, July 17th

The Weiss Lake Improvement Association will hold their monthly meeting on Monday, July 17th in the Meeting Room at the Cherokee County Administration Building – located on the Cedar Bluff Road in Centre.

The meeting will get underway between 5:45 and 6:00pm with guest speakers Mike Holley and Nick from the State Fisheries Department.

Discussion will include Pros and Cons of Stocking Striped Bass into Weiss Lake – along with other issues.

The Weiss Lake Improvement Association 2017 Tagged Bass Rodeo is giving one very lucky or highly-skilled angler, an opportunity to reel in a tagged fish worth $10,000 between June and September – certain rules and regulations do apply.

Fish must be checked in alive and with tag in place / DO NOT REMOVE THE TAG

You must have in your possession a current Rodeo Badge at the time of the catch.  Awards and Prizes ARE NOT transferrable.

Fish must be caught with pole or rod & reel on SATURDAYS in June, July, August and September

You must obey all State Fish & Game Laws

No Guides and No Pro Bass Tournament Anglers allowed

You must be willing to take a polygraph test if requested by Tournament Director

All decisions by Tournament Director are final
