“Westworld,” “Divorce,” and “Insecure” Picked Up for Season 2 at HBO

John P. Johnson/HBO(NEW YORK) — HBO has given the thumbs up to three of its new shows, re-upping the sci-fi series Westworld, Sarah Jessica Parker’s dramedy Divorce, and the comedy Insecure for a second season. 

While Parker became a household name on another HBO hit, Sex and the City, Westworld is a star-studded remake of the 1973 big-screen film about a recreation of a Wild West theme park inhabited by robots.

The J.J. Abrams-produced HBO version stars Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, and Anthony Hopkins.  

Issa Rae’s comedy Insecure has shown promise with with critics and audiences alike since its debut; the second season promises to be 10 episodes, and remain alongside Divorce on Sunday evenings.
