William Raymond Foster, age 78 of Rainbow City, passed away Thursday, January 16th at his residence.
Funeral services will be 1:PM Saturday, January 18th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Bobby Joe Willingham and Rev. Ricky Clanton officiating; burial will follow in Unity Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1:PM Saturday.
Pallbearers include Jason Foster, Mark Suther, Walker Suther, Randel Suther, James Foster, Bill Watkins.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Woodall Foster; sons, Jacky (Pamela) Foster of Rainbow City, Jerry (Pamela A.) Foster of Rainbow City; daughter, Jan Foster of Ashville; sisters, Dorothy Lewis of Fort Payne, Eloise (Davis) Norris of Collinsville; grandchildren, Jason Foster, Jill (Mark) Suther, Julia (Randel) Suther, James Foster; great grandchildren, Walker Suther, Talon Suther, Dalton Suther, Jalyn Foster, Eli Suther; several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by a wife, Aileen Foster; brothers, Charles Foster, Carrol Foster.
Mr. Foster was a native of Dekalb County, the son of the late William A. & Lillian Emery Foster, retires from Matthews Construction and was a member of McIntire Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McIntire Baptist Church or Little River Baptist Church.
