Courtesy Portsmouth Fire Dept(PORTSMOUTH, R.I.) — One woman not only survived this car crash, she was able to get herself out of the wreckage without help.

According to the Portsmouth Fire Department in Rhode Island, the driver slid off Rt. 24 Saturday morning in rainy conditions, and slammed into a tree.

In photos posted to Facebook by the Portsmouth Fire Department, the car appeared to be completely wrecked with the tree practicially inside the vehicle.

The woman was able to walk under her own power, the Portsmouth Fire Department said, but she was still transported to Newport Hospital for what were thought to be minor injuries.
