A 39 year old Anniston was fatally injured when she was hit by a vehicle in Calhoun County late Monday night.
According to information from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Candi J. Ward was on Alabama 202 approximately two miles west of Anniston, when she was hit by a 2012 Chevy Silverado, being driven by 63 year old Patrick Quillian of Eastaboga.
Ward was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident occurred just prior to 10:00pm.
The incident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
