Emergency crews responded to an 18 wheeler accident on Alabama Highway 35 on Thursday afternoon – fortunately the driver was not injured and the truck was empty.
The rig left the roadway and struck a power pole, according to reports.
Broomtown Firefighters, Cherokee County EMA Officials and Alabama State Troopers responded to the scene.
