Shortly after 11:15 Wednesday morning Cherokee County law enforcement and emergency personnel responded to a two-vehicle crash involving an 18-wheeler and a minivan in front of the Centre Walmart.
Early reports indicate that the occupants of the van were merely shaken up and fortunately there were no serious injuries.
The front of the minivan was demolished while the truck suffered significant damage to the cab after striking the minivan then slamming into the ditch in the median.
