An accident involving an eighteen wheeler and a pickup truck pulling a trailer carrying a pontoon boat took place Wednesday morning on the bypass in Centre.
While the pickup was stopped at the stop sign, preparing to turn right, the big rig struck the trailer from behind rolling it over, along with the boat.
According to accident reports from the Centre Police Department the accident occurred at 10:22am involving a 1993 Ford F-350 driven by 58 year old Dave Michael Taner of Jackson, Georgia and a 2015 KWT 680 driven by 43 year old James Sanders, Jr of Decatur.
Fortunately no injuries were reported and all parties refused medical treatment.
