1st Annual Go Green For Grayson Fun Run/Walk & Roll Set For March 21st In Centre

The 1st Annual Go Green for Grayson Fun Run/Walk or Roll for Cerebral Palsy is set to take place on Saturday March, 21 from 2-4pm at Cherokee County High School in Centre.

Recently, Grayson and her mother Sheri paid a visit to the WEIS Radio Studios to talk in depth about the event and how plans to organize the event came about, Sheri Huffman;

The event will feature a live DJ, Inflatable’s; Merle Norman Cosmetics of Centre will be providing face painting, the Christian Bikers Association will also be on hand passing out bottled water in support of the runners.

Cerebral Palsy, is a lack of oxygen to the brain, at birth Grayson’s prognosis was that she would be a vegetable – however through pperseverance and hard work, Sheri says that significant progress has been made;

Huffman said that the overall goal is to spread the word to as many people as possible about Cerebral Palsy Awareness, all monies raised will stay in Cherokee County and will  go toward Cerebral Palsy Awareness and the construction of a swim spa which Grayson will use as part of her therapy.
