Vann Cherokee CabinThe Vann Cherokee Cabin in Cave Spring has received a donation in the amount of $20,000, coming from Wes Walraven and Brian Moore.

Another benefactor has reportedly promised to match any donation up to $6,000.

Walraven and Moore recently completed renovations to the Columns on East 4th Avenue in Rome. Tours of that building have thus far raised approximately $10,000 for restoration of the Fairview/Brown School in Cave Spring.

The ultimate goal for the future of the Vann Cherokee Cabin is to have it returned to exactly the way it would have looked in 1810.
