Cool 1

So-Cool is sponsored by the Centre Rotary Club and is completely free of charge.  So-Cool is a great service to the community – providing many children with alternative activities over the summer months while their parents work.

All the children involved in the camp receive a free breakfast, lunch and snack each day.

There are many games, activities and sporting events on site, including kickball, basketball, dodge ball, volleyball and so on – there will also be off-site activities, such as swimming and skating.  There will also be a Talent Show toward the end of camp.

They will also be offering several educational programs from different agencies, which will include a patriotic ceremony in observance of Independence Day; this allows each child the opportunity to express his or her appreciation and respect for the country we live in, and to understand our heritage as Americans.

Trips include a visit to the Little River Canyon Center, the Cherokee County Library, and the Cherokee County Historical Museum.

Children will also attend Vacation Bible School at Pine Grove Church.

You can register your child on-site the first day they attend the So-Cool program.
