2017 Cedar Bluff Christmas Parade/Lighting Of The Park Celebration Proves To Be An Overwhelming Success

The Town of Cedar Bluff officially kicked off the Holiday Season with their Christmas Celebration on Monday night as an enormous crowd lined Highway 68 in downtown Cedar Bluff for the Parade and then made their way to the town park for the Lighting of the Park Ceremony.

This year’s Parade, the first held in several years, featured more than 50 entries from area businesses, schools, community organizations, civic clubs, and church groups. The parade also featured antique cars, mud buggies, ATV’s and various public safety vehicles…and of course Santa & Mrs. Claus made an appearance, riding atop the Town of Cedar Bluff’s Engine #61.

Cedar Bluff Mayor Tammy Crane would like to thank Jerry Baker, from WEIS Radio and Cherokee County Probate Judge/Commission Chairman Tim Burgess for emceeing the parade, Officer Vaughn and K9 Officer Jagger for leading the parade, the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department Honor Guard, and all the various public safety agencies from across the county for participating.
