Sand Rock High School is set to host the 2019 Cherokee County Holiday Invitational Tournament from the Gadsden State Cherokee Arena over the next three days.

Games tip off today from the Gadsden State Cherokee Arena.

The tournament will feature some premiere match-ups – On the boys side IMG Academy out of Bradenton, Florida; Greenup, Kentucky; Tuscaloosa County, Sand Rock, Gaston, Spring Garden, Collinsville, Cedar Bluff and Gaylesville

IMG Academy boasts four international players, which are a year from going back to their countries and turning professional. This is the first time an IMG team has come to Alabama and played in a tournament.

Girls’ action will feature teams from Cedar Bluff, Gaston, Sand Rock, Springville, Collinsville, Handley, Lauderdale County, Spring Garden and Gaylesville.
