The annual Leesburg Day Celebration was a held on Saturday. Food, Fun and Live Entertainment was among the forefront of activities for the day. Once again, “Still Kickin” from Collinsville provided the live music for day, featuring DeKalb County Probate Judge Ronnie Osborn.
The Leesburg Fire Department partnered with Leesburg Guns hosted a gun raffle with a portion of the proceeds going back to the department. Bryan Headrick was the winner of that raffle. Fire Department officials say that would like thank the staff and management of Leesburg Guns for their continued support.
Also during Saturday’s event, Leesburg Police Investigator was presented with a plaque in recognition for his actions during a water rescue at the Leesburg Landing earlier in the year.
