A 22 year old female was airlifted to an area trauma center after being thrown from a mule at a location on County Road 436 just after 12:30 Saturday afternoon.
Members of the McCord’s Fire Department, Floyd EMS and Cherokee County Rescue personnel were called to the scene.
No information concerning the extent of her injuries was immediately available.
