According to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office at approximately 10:00 that morning, both Quadree Higgins and Jessica Lee were traveling in Higgins vehicle along Martin Luther King Drive in Hobson City, when Rodericus Qinnell Finch pulled in front of their car, blocking the roadway.
Finch reportedly got out of his vehicle and approached Higgins and Lee with a pistol drawn and pointed in their direction; Higgins attempted to drive around Finch at which time Finch began firing rounds into the vehicle, with Lee being grazed by a bullet to the leg.
The incident apparently stemmed from the fact that Lee and Finch had previously been in a relationship which resulted in a daughter.
Finch turned himself in Sunday afternoon at the Calhoun County Jail where he was charged with two counts of Attempted Murder and two counts of Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle
Bond has yet to be set and no court date has been announced.
