The 2nd Annual Cherokee County Agriculture Fair is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, August 15th and 16th – taking place at the Fairgrounds behind the campus of Gadsden State Cherokee in Centre.
Recently – Fair Organizer Daphne Rogers and singer/songwriter Brooke Danielle stopped by the WEIS Radio studios to discuss the upcoming event:
A great deal of effort has been put into making sure this year’s fair is bigger and better than ever, with something for absolutely everyone:
The Brooke Danielle Band will take the stage Saturday night at 7:00, and starting at around 8:30, the evening will be capped off by a huge fireworks display.

The Cherokee County Agricultural Fair is sponsored by the Cherokee County FFA Association.
The fair is a fund-raising event to sponsor Cherokee County Students to attend the Washington Leadership Conference in the summer of 2015.
The fairgrounds include the properties of Gadsden State Community College – Cherokee Campus, City of Centre Sports Complex, and Cherokee County Health Care Authority.

The 2014 fair is a cooperative effort among county FFA chapters, FFA Alumni Organizations, Alabama Cooperative Extension System, Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce, Gadsden State Community College, City of Centre, Cherokee County Health Care Authority, and numerous other interested members of the community who have donated their time, goods, services and money to ensure a successful fair.
